My First Love…Aviation

Most people that know me, also know that I am a pilot and that I have a passion for aviation. Before I got into real estate, my life was all about aviation. I have a bachelors and masters degree in aviation and I am also a Certificated Flight Instructor. I’m fortunate to fly a lot and let me tell you, Tucson, really all of Arizona, is so beautiful from the air. I’m not talking about 35,000 in an airliner either. On a scenic flight, or checking out property we may be just 1,000 feet above the ground. You can see for miles yet still be low enough to see individual cacti or canyons in a mountain ridge.

Cessna172
I have more flight time in a Cessna 172 than any other aircraft.

Lately when I’ve been up with students (at 6am before it gets hot!) I find myself eyeing backyards and checking out what some homeowners have done. I say to myself, “oh check out that patio brick work, I’ll have to remember that for my house.” Or, “it looks like they added a balcony on to the patio for use from the second floor, looks like they have a great view of the Catalina Mountains from there!”

Neighborhood
This could be your neighborhood!

After my momentary snooping I am back to teaching my student how to do stalls, steep turns, and unusual attitudes. I can’t help but feel really lucky that I’ve found two careers that I absolutely love. Have you been driving by a neighborhood that you are thinking about moving to? How about a flight to really make up your mind. Contact me and let’s make it happen!
